Have you ever seen a car that resembles a polar bear? Well, there's no new model as such which is expected to hit the roads anytime soon, but is an Ambassador car.

Hetal Shukla, an interior architect cum installation art designer, has modified his car with white fur and has awed people with his creation.

Shukla participated with this car in the India Design Festival, which was held at Yeshwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration near Pune University.

Besides, the car has become a center of attraction at the ongoing Kala Ghoda Festival in Mumbai.

"I wanted to make a comment on global warming and hence, I created a polar bear out of a car. And coincidentally, like the Ambassador model, even polar bears are on a verge of extinct," said Shukla.

Like an igloo

Shukla has used white coloured fur on the car as well as for the interiors. "I have used several kilograms of synthetic fur for fabrication and the car now resembles an igloo," he added.

Besides, Shukla has inscribed a message on the car's window, which reads: This specimen was kept under special temperature conditions and it grew fur on itself to survive.

Shukla had earlier participated in several exhibitions in India as well as abroad. And now, he's working on yet another incredible concept called 'Bring the sky down to the feet'. Heu00a0 would be using glass sheets and the colour blue to create an impression of the sky.

Car under shower

For commercial proposition, Shukla is planning to create another car titled Car with tiles and shower on its top.

In the car, water will gush down from a shower, which would be wiped out by wipers. Then, the water would be salvaged and the process will repeat. The car would be used as a display tool for ceramic companies.
