"I have come here to tell one thing to the voters of Bihar: You believe in me. You have placed a trust on us in Lok Sabha elections. Now, you show faith in me in the assembly elections too. I will show you the end of corruption in the state," he said while addressing a rally in Gopalganj district, about 165 km from capital Patna.

He said Delhi was infamous for corruption worth crores of rupees being unearthed on daily basis and leading to heavy loss to the exchequer. "You have chosen me for the last 16 months. Has there been a complaint over a single rupee?"

Modi also hit out at the Nitish Kumar-led government for exodus of youth to work as labourers outside Bihar and promised development of the state once the NDA was voted to power.

The fourth phase of the Bihar assembly elections is slated to be held on November 1 in 55 of the 243 assembly constituencies of Bihar.

The Bihar elections began on October 12 and the fifth and final phase of voting will be held on November 5. The counting of votes will take place on November 8.
