The Gujarat chief minister will address students of Fergusson College on July 14

Pune youths will decide what Narendra Modi will call attention to at Fergusson College on Sunday. The Gujarat chief minister has appealed to the youngsters on the micro-blogging site Twitter to share their thoughts on the reasons that have caused a trust deficit in the nation. Modi also asked the youth how this gap could be mitigated.

The BJP leader, who will be in the city to attend various public events on July 14, will also interact with students of Fergusson College on the subject ‘Youths are not just the new age voters, but they are also the new age power' on the occasion of inauguration of an amphitheatre. However, this time instead of just sharing his own thoughts, Modi has planned to pick the brains of the youth. His idea received an overwhelming response from youngsters, moments after he tweeted about it.

"So far, no political leader has tried this innovative concept of preparing his/her speech on the basis of thoughts shared by the youth. However, I would request Modi to try to put the suggestions on his party's agenda for the upcoming general elections," said city-based journalism student Prathamesh Patil.

Law student from Fergusson College Jitendra Bhagat eagerly awaits the day to find out which issues Modi spotlights in his first-ever visit to a college in the city.

"The way UPA government wants to pass the food security bill hastily has created a trust deficit across the country. That's precisely the thought I have already shared with Modi, which I hope he would communicate with the other students," Bhagat said.

Meanwhile, principal of Fergusson College Ravindra Pardeshi said that a few days ago the Gujarat CM confirmed that he would interact with the students for one and a half hours.
