If colours play a major role in your life and you find yourself attracted to vibrant hues, make a trip to the newly-opened designer store at Koregaon Park. Named as Misakee, it refers to the beauty of a blooming flower.

The owner of the store is Manisha Bansal who believes in paying personal attention to her clients. "We realised that Pune had two kinds of stores ufffd one which offers high-end products and caters to a particular kind of people or the reasonably priced ones which are again for a certain group. This store bridges the gap between the two. The items here are moderately priced," she says.

Their collection includes designer wear by Arjun Agarwal, Anshu Modi, Amrita Hans, Niksha Lulla, Rakhi and Vandana, Ik Senya, Pallavi Goenka and Ankit Bhartiya.

The store showcases bridal wear and casual wear like saris, salwar kameez, lehengas, western wear and men's wear.u00a0

"But our USP lies in our formal and semi-formal sarees in various fabrics and designs," adds Bansal. Each piece can be customised based on the customer's requirements. "If the client likes a particular sari or lehenga which is very costly, we can customise it and make it at a lower cost."

The store looks every elegant and chic. Clothes and accessories are systematically displayed. At one corner, inside a glass wardrobe, lie some expensive heavily-embroidered clothes.

They also have beautiful clothes belonging to the bridal and partywear collection. We loved some of their Anarkali dresses available in net, satin and chiffon fabrics and in designs like Jamewari, Zardozi, and velvet work.

We loved the net sari with intricate embroidery. Actress and singer Rageshwari, who is the face of the store, was present at the inauguration wearing one.

What stood out were the classy jackets by Pallavi Goenka, which were part of her festive winter collections. According to Goenka, the idea behind the creation is to revive the Mughal era.

Sadly, there are very few men's wear options with just a single rack of men's shirts and jackets.
