A Special Director in Intelligence Bureau (IB), who had gone for shopping in Moti Bagh area of South Delhi had his official cell-phone picked from his pocket.
"The IPS officer, R Bagchi, is posted as Special Director in IB and lives in C Block in Moti Bagh. On February 5, he had gone for shopping in local market when someone allegedly stole his official cell-phone. He immediately reported the matter in his department.
Two days after the incident, he approached the local police. We have lodged an FIR in the regard," said a senior police official. The official said that they are investigating the matter.
