Just like Picasso's timeless paintings, the exceptional, charismatic compositions of the four-member gang still sway listeners, and leave many in a state too deep for words. Bringing back their magic isu00a0 Imagine Liverpool, an initiative that aims tou00a0 showcase the boys' hometown in all its glory.

The weeklong affair is taking place for the first time in the capital. The key attractions of Liverpool on showu00a0 will include its culture, heritage, nightlife, shopping experiences and, of course, the two iconic draws of the city The Beatles and football.u00a0 There will be the display of the 'original Beatles waxworks,' which have been specially flown in from Liverpool. You can also look forward to a performance by Pete Best, the original drummer of The Beatles. Also participating in the event are 25 young singers who will be singing The Beatles' songs live. "I can't miss this for anything," chirps Naina, a diehard fan. Nor can you.

Pete Best
Born on November 24, 1941, the British Musician is popularly known as the original drummer for The Beatles. In 1960, when the band performed without a permanent drummer, its manager toured Hamburg to find a permanent solution, which he found in the form of Pete Best. However, the band members were already familiar with Pete and his band Blackjackers, as they once used to play at the same club as Blackjackers. When Pete was offered the dream spot, he consulted his band members who without any complain gave him a go-ahead. Pete joinedu00a0 The Beatles on August 12, 1960.
