Country-made pistols seized in Yerawada

The arrested suspect has been identified as Rahul Nanasaheb Amolik, a resident of Kharadi.

"We received a tip-off that a person would be coming to the Platinum Classic building in Chandan Nagar around 10 am with firearms to sell them to prospective customers, and based on the information we laid a trap," said inspector Kishor Jadhav of Yerawada police station.

Jadhav said as anticipated, a person came to the area with a bag and cops detained him while he was waiting around. "We took him into custody and during a search we found four country-made pistols and 10 live rounds in the bag."
