At one point we realised that users were not comfortable meeting people online and that's how the whole idea came about." He added, "The largest media now are the mobile phones and Blackberrys, and utilising this medium, we can help BBM users come together."
Sachit Gayakwad, head of corporate communications at RIM (Research in Motion), said, "When we journeyed into providing apps, it wasn't about having a 1000 apps, but more about geography and how it can be more relevant so that people can use it on a daily basis."
