Amanatullah Khan and (below) Prakash Jarwal being taken to court.
AAP MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal, arrested for allegedly assaulting Delhi Chief Secretary, were yesterday sent to Tihar Jail for 14 days in judicial custody by a Delhi court, which reserved its order on their bail pleas for today.
The two MLAs on the expiry of their one-day judicial custody were produced before Metropolitan Magistrate Shefali Barnala Tondon who heard their bail applications. The court had on Wednesday rejected the demand of the police to interrogate them in its custody and kept the bail matter for yesterday as the prosecution wanted to place some documents before it.

CM's adviser 'saw assault' Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's adviser V K Jain has given contradictory statements about the alleged attack on Prakash, the Delhi Police yesterday told the court here.
Jain had previously said he had not seen anything as he had gone to the washroom at the time of the incident. "New facts have emerged in the case. The advisor to the CM is being interrogated and his statement under Section 164 of the CrPC has been recorded. He has given us four names. The police custody of both the MLAs is required to unearth the whole conspiracy," the prosecutor said.
