Part of an under-construction building at the CGO complex in south Delhi collapsed late Thursday night.
The complex houses many important offices and the construction included the new CBI headquarters.
The police said five labourers came under the debris that fell from an under-construction lintel after batons supporting it collapsed. Three fire tenders rushed to the spot and rescued the labourers.
The injured were taken to the Safdarjung Hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.
The building is being constructed by the National Building Constructions Corporation (NBCC) and the labourers belonged to a sub-contractor Era Constructions.
An official of the Era Constructions, Ankur Jain, told MiD DAY that it was a minor "accident". "One of the bars supporting the lintel may have given-in but there is no significant damage. The injured labourers are stable and being attended on priority."
