Karachi: 163 Indian fishermen, who were released from Karachi's Malir District Jail as a goodwill gesture on Sunday, will arrive at Wagah Border today.
The prisoners were apprehended 10 months ago after allegedly straying in Pakistan's territorial water.
The release follows an interaction between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif during the summit in Ufa, Russia, recently in which it was agreed to release the detained fishermen of the two countries.
As per reports, the fishermen freed on Sunday include three minors and 160 adults.
