The Minister for Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, launched the "14 Minute Miracle" Cleanliness Scheme for Vande Bharat Express trains across the country on 01st October, 2023 from Delhi Cantt Railway station, an official statement said.
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the "14 Minute Miracle" Cleanliness Scheme for Vande Bharat Express trains over Western Railway has been commenced in Mumbai Central - Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express at Gandhinagar Capital station while the cleaning of Jodhpur - Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express was undertaken at Sabarmati. This revolutionary transformation cleaning and housekeeping techniques will not only save valuable time but will also set a new standard for cleanliness in trains.
Thakur stated that the "14 Minute Miracle" is a pioneering approach that focuses on efficient and thorough cleaning, setting a high standard of hygiene and aesthetics. This innovative method will significantly reduce the traditional time taken for cleaning and maintenance on Vande Bharat Express.
