Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar takes a ride on the electric Victoria Carriage at Byculla Zoo

On 21st March, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar took a joy ride on the electric Victorian-style carriage at Byculla Zoo. Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray had launched the electric Victoria carriages at Varsha, his official residence on 14th March. The mayor sat with other people visiting the zoo and seemed to have truly enjoyed herself. Trial runs for the soon-to-be-launched electronic Victoria carriages took place in South Mumbai recently.
