Raj Thackeray addressed his most awaited annual Gudi Padwa rally in Mumbai where it was anticipated that the MNC chief will reveal his support for the BJP ahead of elections
In the jam packed Shivaji Park ground where the rally was held, Raj Thackrey announced that MNS will not field any candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls
However, he finally clarified his stand and declared unconditional support for Mahayuti in Maharashtra
He also appealed to his supporters to prepare for the Maharashtra state assembly elections which will be held later this year
"The upcoming Lok Sabha elections would decide the future of the country," Raj Thackeray said in his rally
After his recent meeting with Amit Shah in New Delhi, it was speculated that MNS would be given one Lok Sabha seat to contest and if that was not possible, it would get a Rajya Sabha or legislative council seat
