As part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, 1000 NCC Cadets formed a human chain holding the national flag along Marine Drive in Mumbai.

The NCC Cadets participating in the human chain were accompanied by an Army Band playing martial tunes, adding to the patriotic atmosphere of the event at Marine Drive.

The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' event, which took place at NCPA, Nariman Point, was commemorated on the eve of Independence Day.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had launched the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign on August 8 in Maharashtra calling for widespread participation across the state to celebrate the nation’s patriotic spirit.

The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, running from August 9 to 15, aims to ensure that every household across India displays the national flag to celebrate India's independence.

Under the Union government's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative, various activities such as Tiranga Yatras, Tiranga Rallies, Manavandana Ceremonies, and Tiranga Melas are being organised across the country from August 9 to 15.

During a meeting at Sahyadri Guest House, CM Shinde reviewed the preparations for the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and emphasised its role in inspiring national pride.

CM Shinde highlighted that the campaign would include rallies, marathons, cultural events, and other innovative programs to foster a patriotic atmosphere throughout the state.

To maximise public participation, CM Shinde had urged the officials to use social media and other communication channels to raise awareness about the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.

CM Shinde had instructed that national flags be made readily available at the district level through planning committees to support the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde earlier said the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative has become a mass movement and invokes a spirit of nationalism and patriotism among the younger generation.
