In an order issued by Vishal Thakur, DCP (Operations), Mumbai Police asserted that Holi and Rang Panchami will be celebrated across the city from March 5 to 11. The police has restricted the throwing of coloured water, obscene utterances in public places, the use of gestures or mimetic representations and the preparation, exhibition or dissemination of pictures, symbols, placards or any other objects or thing which may offend dignity, decency or morality.
