The International Clown Festival has now come to Mumbai. The clown artistes from Italy, Spain, France and Portugal will hold events on November 8 and 9 in St Andrews Auditorium at Bandra, and on November 10 at Cidco Auditorium in Navi Mumbai (PICS/KIRTI SURVE PARADE)

The first of the four-day event was held at St Andrews Auditorium in Bandra on Sunday
Mumbai-based Martin D’Souza aka Flubber, is the founder and creator of the International Clown Festival
The 10th edition of the festival this year will witness clowns from across 10 different countries featuring acts like Joel and Patricia from the Peru Classic Ballerina Act, Sebastian and Cynthia from Argentina UV juggling, Denis from Brazil, Maria from Russia and jugglers Carlos (Spain) and Antonella (Italy) among others
D’Souza, the former vice-president of the World Clown Association, said that the youngest clown in the troupe is about 25 years old while the oldest performer is around 65 years old. Also, more than 12 female clowns will be taking part this time
Tickets can be booked on in.bookmyshow.com. The cost of a ticket starts from Rs 800.
In addition to performing on stage, the tour has stopovers at hospitals, and schools across the country
The troupe has already been to cities such as Delhi, Goa, Kolkata and Pune since September
The next event will be held on November 8 at St Andrews Auditorium, Bandra West
