Eknath Shinde skipped the Ayodhya ceremony and chose to visit Thane's ancient Kopineshwar temple to mark the auspicous day
Along with CM Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena MP and Shinde's son Dr Shrikant Shinde, and many other Shiv Sena leaders were also present and offered prayers to Lord Shankar
Shinde along with Shiv Sena leaders and karyakartas watched the live telecast of Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya Ram Mandir
A 100 feet long incense stick prepared by Shiv Sena was lit in the temple premises. "Dancing with the saffron flag in hand and performing 'aarti' at the temple made this moment unforgettable", Shinde posted on X
CM Shinde played 'dhol' at the temple soon after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya. He along with the Shiv Sena karyakartas celebrated the moment
Shinde said that he is glad that the dream of late Balasaheb Thackeray to built Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is fulfilled
