Mumbaikars are likely to witness light to moderate rainfall today. According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), generally cloudy sky with light to moderate rainfall in the city and suburbs is likely today.
Meanwhile, a high tide of 2.62 metre is expected at 5.37 pm in Mumbai today. Also, a low tide of 2.55 metre is likely to occur at 1.54 pm on September 18.
In the last 24 hours, the island city, its eastern suburbs and western suburbs recorded an average rainfall of 29.82 mm, 51.28 mm and 64.12 mm, respectively.

According to the IMD Mumbai, from June 1, the Colaba observatory recorded a total rainfall of 1999.3 mm, while the Santacruz observatory recorded a total rainfall of 2574.1 mm.
Overnight rains lashed Mumbai and its suburbs, leading to water-logging in some low-lying areas.
The city received a downpour during the night. This caused inundation in some low-lying areas like Sion.
Incessant rains and cloudy skies brought the mercury levels down and turned the weather in the city pleasant.
