At a private school in Dombivli, Thane district, parents of students have levelled allegations against a recently appointed female teacher, accusing her of administering severe physical discipline to their children. The situation escalated as parents stormed into the institution to demand answers from the school authorities regarding this distressing matter, stated a PTI report.
The incident gained widespread attention after a video capturing the parents' irate entrance into the school premises in Dombivli West and the ensuing chaos circulated on social media. Shockingly, approximately 30 students, accompanied by their concerned parents, were observed with bandages indicative of injuries sustained.
According to the report, the parents, arriving at the school during the afternoon, vehemently questioned the school management regarding the alleged mistreatment of their children by the new teacher. Their demands were twofold: they sought clarification on why the teacher resorted to corporal punishment, and they pressed for decisive action to be taken against the teacher responsible. The tumultuous situation persisted for several hours, highlighting the gravity of the issue.
One parent, while speaking to reporters, made a disturbing allegation, stating, "The teacher subjected the children to brutal beatings using an iron rod, resulting in significant injuries." The severity of these injuries was a source of great concern for the parents who had entrusted the school with the well-being of their children.

Another parent claimed a possible motive behind the teacher's actions, saying, "Two days ago, we had approached the same teacher with a complaint that the students were struggling to comprehend her teaching. It appears that she resorted to physical punishment as a form of retaliation."
Notably, the school management remained absent from making any official comment or statement regarding the incident, despite repeated efforts to contact them for their perspective on the matter. As of now, no formal complaint has been lodged with the local police against the accused teacher.
Earlier this year, a disturbing video came to the front wherein teachers of a play school were allegedly seen manhandling children in a CCTV footage.
