A car caught fire on a flyover in Kalwa Pic/RDMC
Three persons travelling in a car had a narrow escape after their car caught fire on a flyover near Kalwa in Thane.
The incident took place at around 3 am on Monday morning near Kharegaon toll plaza. The car was heading towards Nashik from Mumbai.
According to officials, traffic movement on the road was affected for some time.

The car occupants stopped the car after seeing smoke coming out of the vehicle, the Thane Municipal Corporation's regional disaster management cell chief Avinash Sawant said.
"No one was injured in the fire, but the car was completely damaged. A probe was on to ascertain the cause of the blaze," Sawant added.
