Devkabai and her husband Bharat are farmers while Krishna has been prepping for police recruitment examinations in Amravati.

The deceased's cousin, Pravin Mule said, "Presently, we are trying to take care of her mother. I am concerned she will take ill because of the stress and trauma." Meanwhile, Krishna said that he had not yet informed their father of Rajeshwari's death. "My father has a lot of health issues. I cannot tell him about this over the phone," Krishna said.

Rajeshwari sent a portion of her salary of Rs 15,000 to her brother for his education and some was sent to her parents back home. She worked as a caregiver for the elderly with Hyderabad-based Curans Cave & Wellness. She was recently transferred to Mumbai from Hyderabad by the firm to work as a 24/7 in-house caregiver for one of the septuagenarian residents; his daughter and six-year-old grandson also perished in the fire.

Mule added," We can only hope the company continues her salary for some time as assistance for the family."

Laxmi Yadav (40) another survivor of the fire is still struggling for her life. Her son Mahesh (17) said, "Doctors said that her condition is improving." Both Laxmi and Rajeshwari worked as domestic help in the same house and sustained serious injuries while trying to escape with the other two deceased victims of the tragedy.
