On Friday, the Central Railway announced that there will be no mega block on the CSMT-Kalyan section main line and CSMT-Panvel harbour line including the Trans-harbour line and BSU line suburban sections.
The Central Railway (CR) press release stated that due to Panvel remodelling D-day, there will be no mega block on October 1, 2023.
"Due to Panvel Remodelling D-Day there will be No Mega Block on CSMT-Kalyan section main line and CSMT-Panvel harbour line including Trans-harbour line and BSU line suburban sections of Central Railway on 01.10.2023," the press release stated.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of four hours will be taken on UP Fast line from 23.30 hrs to 03.30 hrs and DOWN Fast line from 01.15 hrs to 05.15 hrs between Vasai Road and Bhayandar station by Western Railway (WR) on the intervening night of Saturday/Sunday, i.e. on 29th/30th September 2023.

According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Department of Western Railway, during the block period, all Fast line trains will be operated on Slow lines between Virar and Bhayandar/Borivali station.
"During the block period, some UP and DOWN suburban trains will remain cancelled. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements," the press release by Western Railway stated.
There will be no block during the daytime over the Western Railway Suburban section on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
