In a significant development, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has unveiled the revised list of guardian ministers for 11 districts of the state on Wednesday. This decision comes as part of a strategic reallocation of responsibilities within the state government.
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been appointed as the guardian minister for Pune district, taking on a crucial role in the state administration, an official statement said.
Meanwhile, the responsibilities of the guardian ministers for the 11 districts of Maharashtra are as follows:
1. Pune - Ajit Pawar: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, a prominent figure in Maharashtra politics, has been entrusted with the important role of guardian minister for Pune district. His extensive experience and leadership are expected to contribute significantly to the development of the region.

2. Akola - Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil: Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil will serve as the guardian minister for Akola district
3. Solapur - Chandrakant Dada Patil: Chandrakant Dada Patil has been assigned the responsibility of guardian minister for Solapur district.
4. Amravati - Chandrakant Dada Patil: Chandrakant Dada Patil has been appointed as the guardian minister for Amravati district.
5. Bhandara - Vijayakumar Village: Vijayakumar Village will take on the role of guardian minister for Bhandara district.
6. Buldhana - Dilip Walse-Patil: Dilip Walse-Patil has been entrusted with the responsibilities of guardian minister for Buldhana district.
7. Kolhapur - Hasan Mushrif: Hasan Mushrif, a seasoned politician, has been named as the guardian minister for Kolhapur district.
8. Gondia - Dharma Rao Baba Atram: Dharma Rao Baba Atram will serve as the guardian minister for Gondia district.
9. Beed - Dhananjay Munde: Dhananjay Munde has been appointed as the guardian minister for Beed district.
10. Parbhani - Sanjay Bansode: Sanjay Bansode has been assigned the responsibility of guardian minister for Parbhani district.
11. Nandurbar - Anil Patil: Anil Patil will serve as the guardian minister for Nandurbar district.
12. Wardha - Sudhir Mungantiwar: Sudhir Mungantiwar has been designated as the guardian minister for Wardha district.
Meanwhile, whispers of resentment in certain sections of the tripartite Maharashtra government had gained momentum on Tuesday after CM Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis left for New Delhi in the afternoon, skipping their scheduled events and meetings.
