Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde Sunday lauded the Indian Air Force (IAF) on its 91st Foundation Day. As the nation celebrates the remarkable occasion on October 8, Chief Minister Shinde joined political leaders and officials in expressing admiration for the IAF's unwavering commitment to the country's safety.
Chief Minister Shinde extolled the courage, patriotism, and bravery of the IAF personnel, highlighting their crucial role in safeguarding India's airspace. He remarked, "The sky is touching and shining! On the foundation day of the Indian Air Force, we salute the bravery, courage, and patriotism of our sky guards!"
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his greetings to the air warriors, emphasizing the exceptional service and sacrifices they make to ensure the safety of the nation's skies. He further reiterated India's immense pride in the unwavering valour, dedication, and commitment displayed by the Indian Air Force.
Other prominent political figures, including Union Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, joined in expressing their warm wishes and gratitude to the Indian Air Force personnel. Union Home Minister Amit Shah commended the IAF for projecting air power beyond boundaries, while Defence Minister Rajnath Singh acknowledged their contributions to safeguarding the nation's interests during times of both war and peace.
