Maharashtra reported 12 new Covid-19 cases and zero deaths, as per the state govt's health department.
The data shared by the state govt also reveals that 16 patients got discharged on July 23 after recover annd the total tally of recovered patients untill today is 80,21,453.
Recovery rate in the state is 98.18 per cent.
"Case fatality rate in the state is 1.81 per cent," the health official said.

"Out of 8,73,97,575 laboratory samples 81,70,077 have been tested positive (9.35 per cent) for Covid-19 until July 23," the health official added.
2,696 test were conducted on Sunday out of this 2,162 done in government laboratories, 534 were done in private laboratories.
"At present dominant variant of Covid is Omicron XBB.1.16. Total 1,716 cases were found to be infected with this variant. There were 19 deaths reported among the cases of this variant," the health bulletin highlighted.
Since Januatry 1, 2023, 126 Covid-19 deaths have been recorded. 72.22 per cent of these deaths have occurred in individuals above 60 years of age, 84 per cent of the deceased had comorbidities, 16 per cent did not have any comorbidity.
