Vikram Namdev Munde is on bed rest after his latest suicide attempt. The 32 year-old is the Sewree police's biggest worry at the moment.
Every so often, Munde threatens suicide if the police do not let him run his illegal Chinese food stall in the Kaula Bunder area of Sewree. This time, on February 1, he almost succeeded.

Senior officials from Sewree police station have even tried to speak to his relatives, but they refuse to interact with the police.
Officials claim Munde has a criminal record and harasses residents of the area after consuming alcohol. There are several complaints registered against him at the Sewree police station, for abusing and creating nuisance in the area.
Senior Police Inspector Rajan Ramchandra Bhogale says, "He does not have a license and wants to run his shop without one. We can't let him. On February 1, he attempted suicide and blamed us for pressurising him into it."
Munde sends messages through his relatives, threatening the police with suicide.u00a0 "Once he recovers, we will have to arrest him for attempting suicide under section 309 of the Indian Penal Code," says Bhogale.
