TRUST a Bollywood big boy to cause a flutter at a fashion week
Jackie Shroff
He was dressed in a spotlessly pure white jacket with dark glasses, looking like a rock star and film star rolled in one, being clicked not by the paparazzi but by the invitees with their cellphones, smart or not so smart. And he was there to wish young Kresha Bajaj all the best as she got set to showcase her creations. Well, Kresha's dad Kishor Bajaj is a friend of his, having grown in stature with his Badasaab sharp suits.

We asked Jackie what fashion meant to him. Simplicity, he said simply, adding that it was what made you comfortable. And he quipped that if you wear what is shown on stage the dogs will bark!
We also caught up with a few others to get their take on fashion. Swapnil Shinde, whose muse was Marathi actress Sai Tamhankar for his textile day show felt that when he thinks of fashion he thinks provocative. You should do what you want to do, he added. Shibani Kashyap felt that fashion does not mean necessarily what is trendy. It should be cutting-edge and has to always be a reinvention.
Rashmi Nigam said that fashion meant what makes her feel beautiful. Kim Sharma felt that you should not follow trends and that she wears what she is comfortable carrying off.
