Two days after being subjected to Bollywood's notorious casting couch when a casting director forcibly kissed her, model Aman Sandhu will not have to face it anymore. The 26-year-old has now registered with a casting company, which will help her audition for acting jobs.
Sandhu's story, published in mid-day on November 9, caught the attention of âF The Couch', a casting portal founded by actor Suniel Shetty and casting director Mukesh Chhabra. The website asked her to register on the portal so that she could audition for a multitude of acting jobs they host on their platform.

"Her action is a true reflection of the entire essence of our platform, âF The Couch'. We truly commend her courage and decision to work with dignity and wish to give her a fair chance to explore the opportunities we have in store for aspiring actors like her," said Pranav Mehra, CMO of the platform. The online platform is for actors and employers from all walks of the entertainment industry. Speaking about the development, Sandhu said she hopes other aspiring actors in the industry sign up with such an agency instead of engaging with casting directors who may exploit them.
