Not once, but twice they broke into this jewellery shop on Carter Road number 2, but it still wasn't worth their while. The Kasturba Marg police nabbed the two youths on Saturday for their involvement in the crime. They have been identified as Ravi Bhadriprasad Yadav (22), and Samsuddin Sayyad (22), both residents of Kandivli east.

Failed to break locker
On Friday, the duo entered Madhuban Jewellers by breaking a portion of the roof. They tried to break the locker with the help of a gas cutter but failed. In one of the drawers, they found R12,000 in cash and fled with it. The next morning, the shopkeeper found out about the theft and informed the Kasturba Marg police.
