Passengers who have booked Air India's flights for coming weeks may be affected severely as far as their flight schedules are concerned as Air India's secret ballot results have gone in favour of a 'strike'.

The national carrier's pilots, who had been voting from August end to September 6, which was further extended for 3 days, have now declared the ballot's result to be in favour of a strike.

A letter of confirmation has been issued by General Secretary of Indian Commercial Pilots Association, (ICPA) Pradeep Keerthi.

The ICPA declared all four regions have voted in favour of a strike, and the ICPA is likely to serve a notice on the same in the next 2 days.
