Emotions ran high on social networking site Twitter, as netizens expressed their feelings about the 26/11 terror attacks anniversary.
On the eve of the anniversary, tweeters urged citizens to not only condemn the attacks but also pay tribute to those who lost their lives.
Silent tribute
"Start ur day wit one min of silence. Tmrw s 26/11 last year mumbai was attacked. Let's all pray for their souls 2 rest n peace," wrote balabe87.

"I suggest that everyone who cares for what happened on 26/11 maintain a 2 minute silence at 11 am," tweeted sriana.
RagsTweets wrote, "A salute to the martyrs of India's continued struggle with its troublesome neighbour."

There were others who wished they could go back in time. SuperSachin wrote, "It's one year after 26/11.
Very poor! After inventing Time Machine, I will undo that..." SuDattaM wrote, "It's 26/11.
Feeling weird. Now all I wait is for the Zero Hour. Till then lets shed some few tears for those unsung heroes who left."
