Thane: NCB intercepts one, seizes 412 gram mephedrone

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) intercepted a person in Thane on Tuesday and seized 412 gram mephedrone from him.

On Tuesday evening, NCB raided the house of one Wasi Ahmad Ansari alias Chhotu at Sadguru Residency, Daighar in Thane and recovered 357 gram mephedrone, said NCB officials. Based on a tip-off, NCB officials intercepted Ansari at Shilfata Chowk, Kalyan later that night and recovered another 55 gram of the contraband from him.

Further investigation is underway.
