A 15-year-old boy reportedly sustained injuries when a speeding car allegedly knocked him down in Kalina area of suburban Mumbai, the police said on Sunday, reported PTI.
The accident occurred late on Saturday night when the victim, Gavin Rodrigues, was walking with a friend, an official said, as per the PTI.
A speeding car hit the boy and did not stop, he said.
According to the PTI, the boy was rushed to a hospital, where he was treated for injuries to his mouth, the official said.

The police are on the lookout for the driver of the errant car, he added, as per the PTI.
Meanwhile, Four persons on their way to a cricket match died in Amravati district in Maharashtra on Sunday morning when their tempo was hit by a truck, a police official said, the news agency reported.
According to the PTI, the tempo had 21 members of a cricket team from Amravati city in Maharashtra.
The accident took place at Shingnapur Phata in Nandgaon Khandeshwar taluka at around 7:30 am, Superintendent of Police Vishal Anand said.
"Four persons died on the spot, while 10 sustained injuries and have been hospitalised. The truck driver has been arrested," the SP said.
The tempo was on its way to Yavatmal for a cricket match when the accident took place on Sunday, he added.
In an another incident, four persons were reportedly killed and two others were injured after a van overturned following a tyre burst in Gujarat's Surendranagar district in the early hours of Sunday, a police official said, as per the PTI.
The incident took place at 1:30 am near Haripur village along the Viramgam-Dhrangadhra state highway, the official said, the PTI reported on Sunday
"Six persons were returning to Dhrangadhra after attending a marriage function. Four persons, including three of a family, died on the spot. Two of them were women. Two other occupants suffered injuries and have been hospitalised," he said, as per the PTI.
The Dhrangadhra police station official identified the deceased as Yagnesh Jadav, Indumati Jadav, Radha Jadav and Dhanesh Chavda.
