I am really excited about getting my hands on the game. I loved the first edition. For me, it was one the few superhero games to stand out on its own. It had an excellent story combined with great gameplay. I've been closely following the launch of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and I'm most thrilled about the new web-wings feature which lets you glide through the air as an alternative to swinging and also the Symbiote gameplay that was teased in gameplay trailers.

Black suit coolness

I've been playing all the Spider-Man games, and I'm absolutely pumped for this new release that's coming after five long years of anticipation. Watching Spider-Man in the movies is great but controlling the character in an open world game is where the real fun is. I can't wait to play as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in the new game. But the best part for me is being able to play as Spidey in his black suit, which makes him way more aggressive and powerful. I can't wait to be at the midnight launch event amidst like-minded enthusiasts and share the excitement.

Combat pyrotechnics

The hype for the game is off the roof, we've been waiting for a sequel for five years. In addition to playing as both Peter Parker and Miles, I am looking forward to the improved combat mechanics that were already near perfect in the first game. I've also heard that there will be more side quests that delve into the Spider-Man universe. I like the idea of the midnight launch. This year, some cool pre-order bonuses are going to be handed out, I wouldn't want to miss out on that.

It's not just hype for the sake of hype. I remember when the first game released on the PS4 in 2018, my inbox was flooded within minutes. I managed to get early access to the new game a couple of weeks ago, and I must admit I binged through it and finished the main story within 18 hours. The swinging and traversing experience has definitely received an upgrade. It's way more cinematic in the new game. Some gamers complained about the pacing of the first game, but this time the pacing is impeccable and there's not one dull moment in the story. I noticed a lot more side quests across the city this time compared to the first game, which is a treat for open-world game enthusiasts. All in all, the sequel is definitely worth the buzz it has managed to generate.
