DJ Nghtmre

Tyler Marenyi aka NGHTMRE is a 25-year-old DJ and producer from LA who has hit EDM and bass music territory with all guns blazing. His effortlessly experimental remixes infused with trap beats, rock, southern hip hop, future bass and electro are coupled with organic sounds.

He is scheduled to perform at Royalty on Friday, July 29. It will be an unusual experience, since you will be huddled in a quarantine zone after the Apocalypse. You will be surrounded by smashed TV sets, broken machinery, illuminated by flashing lasers. After all, what's EDM without a dash of theatre.

Hailing from North Carolina, NGHTMRE, who describes himself as more of a musician, truly became a force to reckon with after he performed during Grammy award winner Skrillex's Street at the Ultra Music Festival last year. Then on, he hit almost every major festival in North America, including Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, TomorrowWorld, Snow Globe, Freak Night, OMFG NYE, Moonrise, Contact Music Festival, and LifeInColor Festival. Within just three months in as a touring DJ, he headlined six cities throughout Australia at legendary clubs such as Chinese Laundry and Ambar.

He became a rage in North America and went on to headline almost every major market in North America, hitting marquee venues such as Webster Hall, Avalon, The Mid, Beta, and Elektricity. He's known for his various Mad Decent smashes, and his smashing collaboration with Flosstradamus ‘Lighters Up'. Sparks flew when he got together for ‘Nuclear Bonds EP' with the legendary Slander, a mix of trap and bass.

His tracks have charted no. 1 on Hype Machine multiple times and he was dubbed ‘Skrillex 2.0' by EarMilk.com. His backers are top dogs such as Skrillex, Diplo, Bassnectar, Flux Pavilion, Porter Robinson, RL Grime, Yellow Claw, Bro Safari, and Snails. He has been tapped to do official remixes with The Prodigy, Theophilus London, Keys N Krates, Flux Pavilion, The Griswalds, and Elliphant
