My boyfriend has become extremely possessive

Ever since I moved away from Mumbai to pursue my studies in Bangalore, he has become more and more possessive about me. Every night he calls me to find out what I did the whole day and who I spoke to. If I tell him that I am out with friends, he wants to know if there are any guys with me. I don't know what to make of his behaviour. I feel like telling him that I don't like his attitude. But somehow I haven't been able to do that. I still love him but at the same time, I can't keep tolerating this nonsense from him.

Dear Poojan,
Your boyfriend is behaving like an insecure jerk. The faster you give him a piece of your mind, the better it will be for you. Just because you are not in the same city, he feels he should keep tabs on your every move. The very fact that he asks if you are with male friends is a clear indication that he has gone nuts. The next time he calls, tell him you don't have to relate what you are upto every minute of the day. Also, do you keep tabs on who he meets and what he does throughout the day?
