Will Smith - Chris Rock slapping incident
In March 2022, American actor Will Smith punched comedian Chris Rock after he got miffed at the latter's joke directed at his wife Jada Pinkett Smith during the 94th Academy Awards. After slapping Rock, Smith walked back and used expletives. The video of the incident went across the internet with people questioning Smith's conduct, while a major chunk of netizens have also questioned Chris' âsense of humor'.

Soon after Argentina won the world cup and Messi's âvictorious performance' - the social media flooded with congratulatory messages. One such tweet, from 2015, predicted Messi's win in the FIFA World Cup 2022, as the tweet read, "December 18, 2022. 34 year old Leo Messi will win the World Cup and become the greatest player of all time. The death of Queen Elizabeth
With the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the social media sites were flooded with messages of condolences. While the internet also witnessed criticism of monarchy, colonialism and imperialism as the news of her death hit the headlines. Many cracked âjokes' in between.
