When Gulrez Alam, the visionary director at Teamology Softech And Media Services Pvt Ltd started his company around ayears back, little did he imagine that they would go globally so early in his career. His company received the Iconic PR award at the recently concluded mid-day International Iconic Awards. Alam gives a lot of credit to the award for Teamology to test international waters, "We are trying to go global now. Thanks to mid-day International Iconic Awards we have got a platform to connect with many prospective clients who are outside India. There have been few enquiries for the same so we are looking into it and planning to take it forward. There are new corporate projects which we have received so we are working on that too.

"The biggest advantage that we got was the platform allowed us to pitch ourselves to the client," says Gulrez adding, "We would face some issues for selling our brand. But now, when we tell the clients that we have received an award for Iconic PR agency, it automatically gets us a lot of credibility. Our work has become 40 per cent easier from before."

This digital marketing agency was born at the time when the globe was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, when most people thought that this phase would not be the correct time to launch a startup, Gulrez got the idea of starting a firm with a mission to make digital marketing and PR affordable for SMEs and social media influencers, who really cannot afford a large sum of money to be spent on best PR service. "Our funda was very simple and that is help people and companies for whom PR was a luxury thing. In the last one year, we have had an influx of customers including corporates, film PR and even individual clients."

Gulrez says that the presence on digital medium is the way forward for anyone to increase their brand value, " There is no simpler way to put it; the Internet is ruling our lives. From browsing for news and information to getting updates, everything happens on the internet and social media. Post covid the digital medium has become even more important. It is easier to reach your potential client or your target audience through the digital medium. We want to be the pioneer in digital marketing and PR and I am sure that we are on the correct path to achieve it."
