When I joined the music industry, I was fortunate to be greeted with an abundance of striking melodies being composed all around me. Every composer was curating multiple hits, with signature styles and tunes setting them apart from each other. Their unique aesthetics allowed them to survive long and loved in public memory, without any publicity gimmicks.
Evolution is the key to survival in the creative industry, which was a truth I realised soon enough. Changing the times and responding to the listeners' tastes is the only way to keep afloat in such a volatile environment.
However, I have always placed my trust in intimate, piercing melodies with soulful lyrics, which makes a place in the hearts of audiences effortlessly, and memorably.
My compositions Koi Fariyad and Tum Bin Jiya Jai Kaise stand testimony to the ethics of my composition and have paved the path of my legacy, which has led to my 'Zaahir Kar Do Na'.
