Jason Lobdell
Jason Lobdell is one of the most dedicated and motivating fitness enthusiasts. He was born in Syracuse and raised in Atlanta. Jason's childhood was nothing short of inharmonious. Growing up with an incarcerated father and a brother who dealt with drugs, Jason's future did not have a promising outlook.
About Jason Lobdell
The direction of Jason's future changed after moving to Atlanta in 1992 and marrying his high school friend, Halani, in 2002 at just 19 years old. Both gave birth to their first child in 2008. Jason knew he had provided for his family in a way his father couldn't provide for him. He began his career as a highly regarded party promoter, building relationships among top athletes and celebrities. He then went on to building a trucking business, employing family and friends. His third endeavor, investing in a fitness center, Universal Fitness, paved the way for his successful career in the fitness industry. Jason and his wife gave birth to their second child in 2008, which jumpstarted Halani's interest in a fitness competition. The couple went on to compete in various fitness competitions, such as the SNBF Body Building Competition. After succeeding gradually in health and fitness, Jason went on to power his training career.
Jason's accomplishments
As Jason began to gain popularity for his training abilities, Universal Fitness became the Atlanta staple for fitness enthusiasts. Training hundreds of people and celebrities such as Rick Ross, DJ Drama, and Love & Hip Hop of Atlanta, Joseline Hernandez, Jason's bigger-than-life personality amassed high credibility across the country through his social platforms. Wanting to achieve even more success and take his talents globally, Jason partnered with fitness expert Gerald Bryant to develop the online video program, Results in 28 Days (#RI28). The #RI28 Program hit success, bringing in over $1M in the first year of business. At present, Jason is 36 years old and is expanding the #RI28 Program and his new fitness gym, The Loft Athletic Club.
Jason's act of kindness
Jason and his group of entrepreneurs from Atlanta decided to surprise several grocery shoppers at a local Kroger by taking over the cash registers to pay for their groceries. He said that they were glad to be able to give back to the community in that way. A viral Instagram video showed Jason Lobdell, Alix Burton, Marcus Barney, Neo Davis, and Jonathan Gooch taking over the cash registers for two hours. The group took up every cash register at the grocery store and family after family would go through. According to CNN, Lobdell and his friends paid over $40,000 in total for the groceries. The shoppers were in tears, and others even danced out of happiness.
