Anushree Parekh’s ‘Label : Anushree’ is all about blending modern cuts with traditional designs

When it comes to wearing designer outfits, we all love classics with a hint of modern touch to them. ‘Label: Anushree', a Mumbai-based Fashion House by Anushree Parekh is known for its contemporary Indian wear and easy separates with ‘print on print' details and hand-weave. The Brand believes in combining contemporary clothing with an Indian aesthetic.

Founded in the year 2015, Anushree Parekh, a design graduate from SNDT University and London College Of Fashion embarked on the journey to follow her passion for designs and Indian textiles. Having grown up around a multitude of Indian textiles, Anushree started the journey of her label intending to create festive wear. Sincerity and originality led to the creation of her first piece. Anushree recalls her first design being a statement maxi dress with hand weaved ikkat and her standard block print. A single design led to the creation of others and this led to the creation of Label Anushree.

The boss lady loves experimenting with rich colours, delicate forms, and embellishments which is inspired by the tribes of India and their culture and art that allowed Anushree to bring a certain authenticity to her collection.

Label Anushree has now carved a niche for itself by making it to the list of go-to brands in the fashion world.

The brand offers a wide range of festive wear that gives us a run for the money. Talking about the journey so far, Anushree shares, "We as a brand have come a long way. Seeing your dreams turn into reality gives you the greatest joy. Label Anushree is the result of my love for Indian Textiles, designs and traditional wear. Here we try to offer customised traditional aesthetics with contemporary blends".
