If you have grown up admiring the perfect stiletto moves of Salsa dancers or the swiftness of Mambo performers, here's you chance to learn the international dance forms yourself with Go Latino! - a Latin dance training session by Sandeep Soparrkar and his trainers at Oak Lounge.
"The dance forms that we will be teaching will be both ballroom and club. So since there will be a mix of both fast and slow movements, people with different preferences can enjoy it," says Soparrkar.
The dance sessions will take place every Thursday and different international dance forms including Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha and Samba will be taught to people, who take part in the training. Entry is free for all, so anyone can come and be part of the workshop.
"For most Latin dances, music is very interesting and even the moves aren't very tough to catch, so even people, who are not so much into dancing or are hesitant, can also enjoy the experience without any problem," avers Soparrkar.
In the workshop, people will be divided into partners and then will be asked to match the steps of the trainers, who will teach them the finer points of different dance routines. The participants will be given enough space to perfect their moves and the trainers will help and encourage them to add finesse to their movements.u00a0And it doesn't just stop at that. People can also enjoy an eclectic mix of drinks and dig into their favourite food at the lounge to complete the experience.
