When Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was released 32 years ago on May 25, 1977, nobody would have thought that this would be so popular. Wikipedia says that, as of 2008, the overall box office revenue generated by the six Star Wars films has totalled approximately $4.3 billion, making it the third-highest grossing film series behind only the James Bond and Harry Potter films. Bond beating Star Wars? In money alone, not in style, you could say. Personally, I would rather kiss a wookie instead of watching Bond!
