Veteran musician Lou Majaw is in town. Drop in at Blue frog to watch him perform with his friends
The Lou Majaw double whammy continues at Blue Frog with another special performance by the Shillong-based, self taught musician. Majaw's love for Bob Dylan was evident at last night's concert and at tonight's performance, he introduces the city to some of his musician friends. Majaw performs with Barikyrpang Kharnaior, Rupert Nongkhlaw and Noel Karthak Lepcha, who are members of the band, Midnight Garden Factor.
The 64-year-old Khasi guitar-strumming singer has been organising a concert commemorating Bob Dylan's birthday on May 24 for nearly 40 years. This year, Majaw celebrated the 70th birthday of his idol with a grand concert with one band each from eight states of North East India.
