These parties pose as the best theme during such dry days, so why not plan one at your convenience and get them all wet, wet, wet? We show you the way.

Check List
Security is the foremost thing on the agenda

Pour water only on the dance floor
Girls should avoid wearing skimpy stuff, unless playing super sexy is their mantra
One should wear sneakers, and avoid dancing barefooted
Console and speakers should be kept safely covered to avoid electric short circuits

Spot Seek: If you plan to throw a bash for your friends, the first thing to keep in mind is the venue.

Since a rain dance needs many elaborate arrangements and equipments apart from regular lighting and music, you would need a bigger space.

"We, unfortunately, have technical and logistical compulsions that prevent us from conducting such dos," she adds. Have a garden? Call for an MCD water tanker!

Music Mania: After the place is fixed, the next thing of utmost importance is some smashing music.

Pick a music system with super powerful speakers, or if you have enough dough to dish out, arrange for a dashing DJ.

"The music should definitely be foot-tapping, and depends on the genre of attendees," feels DJ Kary.

"Anything from Bollywood to hip-hop and trance should be good enough to soar spirits. Some all-time favourite numbers are Tip Tip Barsa Paani, It's Raining Men and When The Rain Came Down," Kary claimed.

"Preferably, one should opt for a cemented floor, as a waterproof one is very expensive. And special care should be taken to keep the console and the speakers covered so that they are not spoiled," she added.

Add Some Spunk: You can either book an event management company (in case your interests extend to commercial circles, too) or alternatively, do it yourself. Some special effects would go a long way in making the experience memorable.

Fixu00a0 some sprinklers, choose a a swimming pool-side andu00a0 well, there's more. "For more fun, you can use coloured water and fresh flowers for aroma.

Additionally, installing laser lights will also make your party more happening," asserted Manjinder Singh from Sound X event managers.

Don't forget some fun games for kids and adults alike let your creativity go wild with props like umbrellas, raincoats, et al.

Daru Dip: How can one forget the food and drinks? Stock up on summer cocktails like strawberry punch (strawberries, pineapple, lime juice, sugar syrup, white rum), watermelon martini (Ketel One Citroen, Watermelon, lemonade, 7-Up), mango banana daiquiris (mango flavour, banana, lime juice and dark rum) or Kiwi punch (White rum, kiwi syrup, lime, sugar).

Some drops of vodka in the rain would make the do even more intoxicating. In munches, keep the menu short and crisp, avoid stuff which will get soggy easily.
