There's a lot to explore when it comes to Indian textiles and crafts. Giving a brief glimpse of some of the popular weaves and embroideries of India is Talking Threads.
A chikankari dupatta and kurta by Talking Threads
The site offers a variety of saris, stoles, dupattas, kurtas, tops and more in gara, kantha, phulkari, and other types of embroideries.
They have a separate section for pashminas with various options ranging from different weave patterns such as reversible, stripes and checks, to hand-embroidered pieces.
Also on offer are bandhani saris, dhakaai saris and even gota saris. Though impressed with the collection, we weren't too excited with the accompanying price tags, and found several products to be overpriced.
