Lights, Camera, Action - Friday the 13th 1997, Satkar Theatre/ Movie hall. - It's a full house, people are in a frenzy to watch this super hit movie. There is chaos at the ticket counter to get the tickets. Extra seats are being arranged for VIP customers in the alley since tickets are over at the booking office. The theatre owner is happy, with making huge ticket sales, people have come in with their respective girlfriend, families, friends, kids with special permission just to watch this movie. Everybody is happy and enjoying the movie until tragedy strikes disastrously.
Imagine! Being trapped in a closed place with more than 100 people and there is no escape route. The people trapped try hard to save themselves to get away from all the smoke and fire. A group of army men had come to watch the movie too, try and help people escape this disaster, but even they could not save the lives of these Fifty-five people. The family members are shattered, the happy moment turns into the last show of their lives.
But the tragedy does not end here, the victim families run pillar to post for almost 15 years to get justice for their beloved ones. All that is served to them is "when you are politically and financially strong even justice serves you a raw deal." The culprits behind this tragedy go scot-free by merely paying a handsome penalty.

There are always two sides to a story and we want the audience to experience both sides. The tragedy needs to be told and especially how the families of the deceased continued to suffer for years. We have done extensive research to bring authenticity and soul to the story. ULLU app has been successfully launching shows with stories inspired by real-life and I am glad they have chosen this forgotten tragedy for the audiences to see and know the plight of the families who were affected and their story to survival until now.'
The Last Show highlights the flaw in our justice system and how people with strong clouts get away without being punished properly, at the same time it highlights the facts, the hopelessness of the common people to get the well-deserved justice.
