'Tera Yaar Hoon Main' actor Sagar Parekh, who features as Lakshay in the family drama, considers co-star Ssudeep Sahir his mentor. Sahir plays the protagonist Rajeev Bansal.

"I am in love with his daughter, but he does not approve of me, so I am up to some tricks," says Parekh. "We are at loggerheads on screen, but once the camera is switched off, he helps and guides me," he adds.

"Having seen Ssudeep Sir's work for years, it's a pleasure for me to share screen space with him and learn so much every day from other actors, directors and the creative team. Shashi Sumeet is a renowned name in the industry and I feel blessed to associate with them. I play Lakshya, a careless boy who finds love in Trishala and now has to convince her father Rajeev (Ssudeep Sahir). It's basically a journey of his self-discovery as he resolves to impress Trishala's father and get her hand for marriage," said Parekh, who quite recently has started shooting for the show.

"There were initial jitters because the character is really different from who I am but the team was so supportive that it didn't take me much time to catch up and familiarize myself with Lakshya. I have finally got an opportunity to do something different and explore myself as an artist. So, I would urge my fans to watch the show and keep showing their support," he concludes.
