The second wave of coronavirus has taken the world by storm and while the nation is witnessing a massive resurgence, the government, as well as many actors from the entertainment industry, have been urging the citizens to take their doses of vaccine whenever available. The past year has proved to be a massive shift for the industry with shoots of films and shows taking a halt amid Covid-19. However, ever since the town has been adapting to the new normal, producers across the industry are following various norms amidst the safety of their cast and crew. Every time that the entertainment industry has suffered a blow over the past year, it has also witnessed immense support from stars and filmmakers. The latest act of solidarity comes from a TV couple - Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta.
Ravi Dubey, who recently donned the hat of a producer for his new show âUdaariyaan', has been leaving no stone unturned in keeping the cast safe and secure. Right from flying to Punjab to the set of 'Udaariyaan' to following utmost precautions on sets, Ravi has been constantly going an extra mile for his production company, the Dreamiyata family.
The actor recently shared the news on social media about his entire cast and crew receiving their first jab of the vaccine. He wrote, "We at @dreamiyata are happy to report that all employees cast crew and members of @dreamiyata family have got our doses of vaccine ...our deepest gratitude to all the frontline workers and members of the authority [sic]"

Earlier, filmmaker Aditya Chopra came forward to vaccinate daily workers of the Hindi film industry. He has even requested Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to allow his production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) to purchase 60,000 Covid-19 vaccines. "We hope our kind request is approved which will enable our members to be safe and also get them back to work at the earliest," a statement by YRF read.
